Professor Christian Tams will be speaking at Paris Arbitration Week as part of a panel brought together by Eversheds Sutherland on the topic of ‘Finding the State: Foreign Investment and Disputed Territories, State Succession and Military Conflicts’. Speaking alongside Professor Nicolas Angelet and Professor Alina Miron, the panel will be looking at the way in which finding the State and the resolution of investment disputes can be particularly complex when investments are located in disputed territories, or when the establishment of the investment or the resolution of disputes between a State and an investor intervenes in a context of military conflicts or State succession. The session will be moderated by Wesley Pydiamah, a partner at Eversheds. To find out more about the session, please see here.
Paris Arbitration Week is taking place between 6-10 July and owing to Covid-19 will be taking place virtually for the first time.
