Defendants responsible for substantial publication

Published:

Re: Hourani v Thomson & Ors [2017] EWHC 432 (QB)

The claims for libel and harassment arose from a campaign of street protest, online publication and sticker distribution. The Court held that the first, second, fourth and fifth defendants bore at least some responsibility for the substantial publication, and that they engaged in conduct which amounted to harassment. Damages were awarded for libel and harassment.

Anthony Hudson QC and Ben Silverstone were involved in this case.
