We are delighted to welcome Professor Suzanne Rab as a new member.
Suzanne has over two decades of experience of competition law, EU law and regulatory law. Her practice centres on the intersection of innovation, trade, and economic regulation. She represents governments, regulators, and businesses in disputes across regulated sectors, including financial services, energy and environmental matters, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, telecommunications, media and technology (TMT), and natural resources.
Suzanne also has complementary experience in navigating the interplay between competition law and intellectual property rights, as well as information rights and data protection.
Suzanne has significant experience navigating the development, implementation and application of new competition laws and regulatory regimes in line with international best practices, including in emerging markets.
Alongside her practice, she is a Professor at Brunel University, a law lecturer at Oxford University, and a Visiting Professor at Imperial College London, specialising in competition law and intellectual property rights. Suzanne is also a recognised expert in her field, serving as a panel member for the UK Regulators Network (UKRN) and the Office for the Internal Market (OIM), as well as a non-executive board member of the Legal Aid Agency (LAA) and the Press Recognition Panel (PRP).
Rachel Holmes, Chief Executive of Matrix, says:
“Suzanne’s wealth of experience will be a huge asset to the Competition and International Law teams here at Matrix. We are thrilled Suzanne has joined us, and we very much look forward to working with her in the years ahead.”
