Last week, the European Court of Human Rights delivered its ground-breaking ruling in Verein KlimaSeniorinnen Schweiz and Others v. Switzerland, in which it concluded that Switzerland had violated Articles 6 and 8 of the Convention in failing to adopt sufficient measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and not providing effective access to Court.
We are hosting a discussion with lead Counsel for the Applicants: Jessica Simor KC and Marc Willers KC, chaired by Toby Fisher to provide an overview on the meaning and implications of the Judgment.
