Blinne Ní Ghrálaigh represented James Brown this week at the Court of Appeal. The former Paralympian athlete had superglued himself to a British Airways plane during an Extinction Rebellion protest to raise awareness about our current climate crisis. James Brown was convicted of causing a public nuisance earlier this year and it was argued had been given a ‘manifestly disproportionate’ sentence.
Mr Brown was released on bail pending the Court of Appeals judgment.
Blinne is instructed by Raj Chada at Hodge Jones & Allen and it being led by Tim Moloney QC of Doughty Street.
