On 14 October 2025, Ifeanyi Odogwu appeared at the Undercover Policing Inquiry to deliver the opening for Dr Neville Lawrence OBE. He submitted there was no justification for any undercover reporting on the Lawrences and invited the Inquiry to make clear findings that the surveillance was racially discriminatory.
The Inquiry is examining the activities of the Metropolitan Police’s Special Demonstration Squad between 1993 and 2007.
