Transgender father wins her appeal against denial of direct contact with her children


The Court of Appeal allowed the appeal by the father against the decision of the Family Court that direct contact between her and her children risked the children being ostracised from the Orthodox Jewish community in which they lived. Karon Monaghan QC and Sarah Hannett intervened on behalf of Stonewall to make submissions on the Human Rights Act 1998 and the Equality Act 2010.
