Supreme Court gives ruling on statutory scheme for conviction disclosure

The Supreme Court has ruled that rules requiring disclosure of previous convictions as part of criminal records checks are disproportionate to the extent that they apply whenever there are two convictions and do not adequately take account of the special position of children.
