Success for Claire Darwin KC in High Court pensions discrimination case


In Newell Trustees Limited v Newell Rubbermaid UK Services Limited & Ors Mr Justice Michael Green held inter alia that employees aged under 40 as of 31 December 1991 had not suffered unlawful age discrimination as a result of their automatic transfer out of a final salary pension scheme into a money purchase scheme in 1992.
