Professor Sean Murphy elected as President-elect of the American Society of International Law


On April 13, 2017, the members of the American Society of International Law, at their annual meeting in Washington, D.C., elected Matrix Associate Member Sean Murphy as President-Elect of the Society. The Society is recognized as a pre-eminent scholarly society in the field of international law, with membership from around the world. Murphy, who is also the Patricia Roberts Harris Research Professor of Law at George Washington University and a member of the United Nations International Law Commission, will assume his two-year presidency at the Society’s April 2018 annual meeting.
