James Stansfeld leading Robbie Stern, instructed by Janes Solicitors, appears for Mr Sanjay Bhandari whose extradition is sought by the Government of India in respect of two requests arising out of an alleged failure to declare his foreign assets under Black Money Act 2015 and alleged money laundering.
The initial issue being determined on 3 – 4 and 7 – 9 March 2022 is whether the offences are extradition offences and the Government has adduced evidence to establish a prima facie case.
