Samantha Knights QC to moderate panel on Slavery in the South West at Shute Festival

Samantha Knights QC will chair an online panel event on 26 November from 6-7pm with Dr Todd Gray from Exeter University and Kate Garbers, founder of Unseen, on Slavery in the South West. This event among others staged in the South West hopes to bring to light the issue of modern slavery in the region and UK more widely. Samantha will also be speaking at the Bridport Arts Centre Exiles Exhibition on Modern Slavery. Speaking to the Western Morning News, Samantha commented, “although it is true to say such crimes are at their worst in cities and larger towns, there’s plenty of evidence to suggest the problem occurs in various forms throughout this region.”
