Rhodri Thompson QC is one of four speakers delivering a talk entitled ‘Your eBook, your game, your drone? You probably don’t own it!’ at this year’s International Bar Association in Rome. The panel of speakers will examine the standard licensing restrictions attaching to e-products, look at challenges in various jurisdictions and see if the law is adequately protecting both the owner and consumer.
Rhodri is a senior silk specialising in competition law and EU law and is also a recognised leader in telecommunications and sports law. He has appeared in many leading cases in the CAT, the High Court and the EU Courts, including the Interchange appeals where he acted for HSBC.
