RFU Disciplinary Panel gives England player two-week ban following outburst during match

Published:

The Rugby Football Union (RFU) has given Kyle Sinckler, a Bristol Bears and England rugby player, a two week ban following an outburst towards the referee during a match. In a disciplinary hearing the panel held that the incident was a failure to respect the authority of the referee. The two week ban will mean that Sinckler will miss England’s opening match of the Six Nations tournament against Scotland.

Richard Whittam QC chaired the judicial panel in this decision.
