Professor Christian Tams, a barrister at Matrix Chambers and Professor of International Law at the University of Glasgow, has published a book entitled ‘International Investment Law and History’.
The book, co-edited with Professors Stephan W. Schill (Amsterdam), and Rainer Hofmann (Frankfurt) offers in-depth studies on the methodological challenges and benefits of historical approaches in international investment law. It brings together perspectives from a range of academic experts and practitioners who explore ways in which using a broad variety of methods in historical research can lead to a better understanding of international investment law.
