Professor Christian Tams co-edits symposium on the 20th anniversary of the ILC Articles on State Responsibility

Professor Christian Tams has co-edited, with Dr Federica Paddeu, a symposium to mark the 20th anniversary of the ILC Articles on State Responsibility. The Articles were adopted by the UN International Law Commission – led by the late Judge James Crawford, one of Matrix’ founding members – on 9 August 2001. They are one of the foremost documents of contemporary international law, and play a role in nearly all inter-State and many investment disputes.

The symposium brings together academics and practitioners on this practical aspect of international law. It features 13 contributions that will appear on the EJIL Talk blog from 2-9 August and can be found here
