Solicitors Journal have published the article “The Law Commission’s consultation on private international law reforms: navigating digital assets in the modern legal landscape” by Prof. Suzanne Rab.
The Law Commission’s project on digital assets and ETDs in private international law emerged from the recognition that technological advancement has outpaced legal development. The article examines the Law Commission’s proposals to modernise the rules governing cross-border disputes involving digital assets and electronic trade documents.
