LawInSport have published the article “Different Roads, Different Destinations: Why the Table Tennis Russia Ban Failed Where FIFA and UEFA Succeeded” by Prof. Suzanne Rab.
The article examines why the European Table Tennis Union failed to defend its decision to exclude Russian athletes and teams before the Court of Arbitration for Sport following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, while FIFA and UEFA were able to successfully defend comparable measures.
