Northern Irish High Court rules that Omagh bombing could have been prevented


The Northern Irish High Court has concluded that there are plausible allegations that there was a real prospect of preventing the Omagh bombing. As a consequence, Article 2 of the ECHR requires the investigation of those allegations.

Hugh Southey QC led Eamon Foster of the Northern Irish Bar and was instructed by John Fox of Fox Law.
