Migrants’ Rights Network (MRN) have issued a an application for judicial review of a data sharing agreement between the Secretary of State for Health and the Secretary of State for the Home Department. The agreement permits the sharing of patient data held by GPs with the immigration authorities. MRN alleges that the agreement infringes Articles 8 and 14 of the ECHR, the public sector equality duty, the Data Protection Act 1998 and is ultra vires.
