Matrix is delighted to announce that Mark Greaves has joined us as a member from Old Square Chambers, with effect from 5 November 2018.
Mark was called to the Bar in 2016 and has already begun to build a busy practice with a focus on employment and discrimination, and education law. Mark has experience acting for both claimants and respondents across the full spectrum of employment law and gained experience of cases at all levels from the Employment Tribunal and High Court to the Supreme Court during his pupillage. He has particular expertise and interest in cases concerning working time and is the author of the “Working Time” chapter in Tolley’s Employment Law (looseleaf).
In addition to Mark’s growing employment practice, he also has experience across a wide range of education law issues. This has included appearing before the First-Tier Tribunal in appeals relating to EHC plans and completing a part-time secondment at Ofsted where he lead Ofsted’s legal services team in advising on issues concerning independent schools and equality law.
Rachel Holmes, Chief Executive of Matrix commented “I am delighted to welcome Mark to Matrix and we look forward to working with him to continue to grow his practice as he begins to establish his career at the Bar.”
