The Howard League for Penal Reform has today announced that Lord Ken Macdonald QC will be its new President. Lord Macdonald QC is a founder member of Matrix Chambers and is also a Warden of Wadham College, Oxford. A former Directory of Public Prosecutions, Lord Macdonald is regarded as one of the country’s leading criminal, regulatory and international lawyers.
Speaking on behalf of the Howard League for Penal Reform, Frances Crook, Chief Executive, said:
