Karon Monaghan QC and Aileen McColgan appointed to panel of major review into UK’s gender discrimination laws

Published:

A nine-month inquiry into the UK’s gender discrimination laws is to be launched amid fears a potential post-Brexit move towards a lower regulation economy could see protections eroded. This major review to be carried out by the Fawcett Society will be led by Dame Laura Cox and assisted by a number of lawyers and academics, including Karon Monaghan QC and Aileen McColgan. The review will consider the effectiveness of the current laws and how legal rights might be more effectively enforced. Further information can be found here and here.
