Judicial review of Lib Dems’ exclusion from leaders’ debate

Today the Divisional Court will hear the Liberal Democrats’ urgent challenge to the exclusion of Jo Swinson from ITV’s leaders’ debate, due to be broadcast tomorrow night. The party will contend that ITV’s decision is amenable to judicial review and that the broadcaster is in breach of its duty to preserve due impartiality.
