Former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has appealed against a High Court judge’s ruling after being sued for defamation by a political blogger in July 2020. Richard Millett complained that Corbyn had defamed him during a BBC television interview in September 2018. The Court of Appeal heard today that the case involved political and free speech and required close scrutiny.
Anthony Hudson QC was instructed by Martin Howe at Howe & Co to represent Jeremy Corbyn in this case.
