Congratulations to Jamas Hodivala and Eleni Mitrophanous who have been successful in their application to be appointed Queen’s Counsel.
The ceremony at which newly appointed QCs make the declaration before the Lord Chancellor will take place on 16th March 2020.
Jamas has an established practice specialising in complex financial and business crime, judicial review and professional discipline. He is ranked and recommended as a leading junior by Chambers & Partners and the Legal 500 in the areas of Criminal Fraud, Health & Safety, Environmental Law and Professional Discipline. Jamas has experience in cases that often involve an international element and can also offer specialist advice and advocacy in areas of criminal law that often overlap with public law, such as challenges to the use of investigatory powers by regulatory and prosecutors.
Eleni has extensive experience in European Law, VAT/Excise law, Public law, Commercial law and Human Rights law.
