The Investigatory Powers Tribunal has today handed down its judgment in cases brought by two journalists from Northern Ireland Barry McCaffrey and Trevor Birney.
The Tribunal quashed the communications data authorisations and a directed surveillance authorisation and awarded the journalists damages.
