The inquest into the death of five-year-old Benedict Blythe, who suffered a fatal anaphylactic reaction to cow’s milk at Barnack Primary School, has concluded after 8 days of evidence. The jury concluded that Benedict suffered a fatal anaphylactic reaction after accidentally ingesting cow’s milk at school. The Jury found that the school did not follow the processes and procedures in place to prevent such an incident.

Kirsten Sjøvoll acted as Counsel to the Inquest and Jonathan Glasson KC acted for the Department for Education.
