An inquest into the death of nine-year-old Ella Kissi-Debrah has today found that air pollution was a medical cause of her death. This ruling following the two week inquest is the first time air pollution has been listed as a cause of death in the UK. In the three years before her death in 2013 Ella experienced seizures and was admitted to hospital 27 times.
