Ghana maritime boundary decision

On 23 September, a Special Chamber of the International Tribunal of the Law of the Sea, based in Hamburg, gave judgment in the case of Ghana v Côte d’Ivoire, in which it had been asked to determine the maritime boundary between the two States. The decision placed the boundary in the location argued for by Ghana during the three-year case. Philippe Sands QC and Alison Macdonald QC were part of the legal team for Ghana.
