Georgia has accused Russia of war crimes across its territories during the military conflict between the two countries in 2008. The Georgian government has accused Moscow of multiple violations during a hearing at the European court of human rights in Strasbourg this week. The court heard that over five days, Russian planes carried out more than 100 attacks on Georgian targets. The court is expected to rule later this year. For further press coverage, please see here.
