Electoral Commission found to have got the law wrong in EU referendum

The Divisional Court has found that the Electoral Commission – the body charged with overseeing elections and referendums in the UK – got the law wrong when it regulated the EU Referendum. The Court’s judgment was handed down today. Jessica Simor QC was instructed by Deighton Peirce Glynn. A copy of the judgment can be found here.
