The hearings in the Dawn Sturgess Inquiry begin this week. The Inquiry, chaired by Lord Hughes, is investigating the death of Dawn Sturgess, who was killed by a military grade nerve agent – Novichok – in July 2018. The Inquiry will be examining a range of issues, including whether the Russian State is responsible for Dawn’s death, whether the attack could have been prevented by the UK authorities, and the response to Dawn’s poisoning.

Jesse Nicholls acts for Dawn’s family, led by Michael Mansfield KC and Adam Straw KC, and instructed by Marcia Willis Stewart and Hazel Metcalfe of Birnberg Peirce.
