Court of Appeal upholds conviction of Sally Jones for conspiracy to defraud

Published:

The Court of Appeal has upheld the conviction of Sally Jones for conspiracy to defraud. In this private prosecution, Richard Whittam QC secured her conviction, along with two others, at the trial and responded in the Court of Appeal.

Sally Jones contended that, amongst other things, documents produced because of a Norwich Pharmacal Order made her conviction unsafe. The Court of Appeal rejected that submission and upheld her conviction.

The judgment is to be handed down at a later date.

Richard Whittam QC was instructed by Edmonds Marshall McMahon [EMMlegal] and led Henry Hughes.
