Court of Arbitration for Sport delivers decisions on appeals filed by Russian athletes

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has today delivered its decisions in 39 appeals filed by Russian athletes who were subject to lifetime bans for anti-doping violations committed at the 2014 Winter Olympics. The CAS upheld the appeals in 28 cases and partially upheld the appeals in 11 cases.  Edward Craven and Andrew Smith served as ad hoc clerks to the CAS tribunals that determined the appeals.
