Court of Appeal hears appeal in the case of Day v. Health Education England

On 21 February 2017, the Court of Appeal heard the appeal in the case of Day v. Health Education England. This expedited appeal is of major importance in determining the rights of junior doctors and agency workers to protection against detriment when they have blown the whistle. James Laddie QC represented the appellant, Dr Day. Thomas Linden QC represented the intervener, Public Concern at Work. Judgment has been reserved.
