Matrix is delighted to announce that Blinne Ní Ghrálaigh KC is this year’s recipient of the Irish Women Lawyers Association’s Lawyer of the Year Award.
Blinne was presented with the award at IWLA’s gala dinner in Dublin on 13 December 2025. In granting the award, the IWLA stated:
“This honour recognises an outstanding legal professional whose dedication, leadership, and commitment to rule of law and defence of human rights exemplify the highest standards of our profession. We congratulate Ms. Ní Ghrálaigh on this well-deserved achievement and thank her for her exceptional contributions to the legal community”.
Blinne is a human rights and international law specialist, practicing before domestic and international courts and tribunals. She is also Adjunct Professor at University College Cork, University College Dublin and the University of Galway.
