Ayesha Christie to speak on ‘Medicine and migration: the legal rights of refugees’ at Euroanaesthesia conference

Ayesha Christie will speak at the upcoming Euroanaesthesia conference in Copenhagen this Saturday 2nd June 2018. Her talk will address the legal rights of refugees and foreign nationals suffering from serious mental or physical illnesses to be protected from expulsion. She will cover recent developments in the European Court of Human Rights and the Court of Justice of the European Union which have enhanced protections for vulnerable persons, and will discuss the ways in which lawyers and doctors can work together to uphold the rights of refugees.
