The Rule of Law Impact Lab at Stanford Law School uses litigation, advisory work and legal advocacy to help counter democratic backsliding in countries around the world. The Lab works closely with local practitioners and academics in doing so.
Anirudh was recently appointed as an Expert Advisor to the Lab. The appointment draws on his expertise across several complementary areas. These include litigation before the European Court of Human Rights, where Anirudh has acted in over a dozen applications, many involving successful requests for Interim Measures; international human rights law, including claims to UN treaty bodies and under special procedures mechanisms; and comparative constitutional law.
The role sits alongside his broader full-time practice at the Bar in these and other areas.
