Adam Sandell, a member of Matrix and a GP, delivered a talk at this year’s Euroanaesthesia congress in Geneva on whether doctors who are called on to help in a medical emergency can have legal action taken against them.
Adam discussed the details around a doctor’s duty to help and stated that it is extraordinarily rare for successful legal action to be taken against doctors who have in good faith assisted someone in distress in an emergency. For more information about this talk, please see here.
