With great sadness Matrix Chambers announced the death of Sir Paul Jenkins QC (Hon) on Monday 26th February 2018.
Sir Paul’s memorial service will take place on Monday 9 July 2018 at 17:30 in Temple Church, London. The service will be followed by a drinks reception in Inner Temple Garden. If numbers require us to do so the memorial will also be broadcast live to Middle Temple Hall.
Space is limited and tickets will be allocated to seating blocks approximately two weeks prior to the event. An application is not a guarantee of a space. A maximum of two tickets can be applied for per booking.

Sir Paul joined Matrix as an Associate Member in 2015 after a long career in the Government Legal Service commencing in 1979, and was currently serving as Treasurer of Middle Temple. He was in office as the Treasury Solicitor, the Attorney General’s Permanent Secretary, Head of the Government Legal Service from 2006 to 2014. Sir Paul was a valued member of Matrix Chambers, in practice he acted as an independent adviser and consultant, specialising in sensitive investigations, inquires, compliance audits and reviews both internationally and in the UK. He was a Trustee and Board member of the British Institute of International and Comparative Law and the Bingham Centre for the Rule of Law as well as a member of the Ethics Committee at Tate.
