Florence is a trainee at Matrix
Florence is a Trainee Barrister at Matrix. She is currently being supervised by Zoë Leventhal KC and Sarah Hannett KC.
Florence is a qualified solicitor. She trained at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP where she qualified in 2020 in the competition and public law litigation team.
Before joining Matrix Florence worked as a solicitor at the AIRE (Advice on Individual Rights in Europe) Centre. She worked in the AIRE Centre’s UK litigation team, focusing primarily on EU citizens’ rights in the UK, and on their rule of law and ECHR projects in the Western Balkans.
In 2022-2023 Florence was a Judicial Assistant to Lord Kitchin in the Supreme Court. She has also worked for JUSTICE and the British Institute of Human Rights on public law, human rights and social justice policy.
Florence has wide experience as a volunteer legal adviser, including recently being a trustee of a legal advice clinic charity.
