From August 2013 if a worker brought a claim to the ET or the EAT he/she had to pay a fee to the tribunal. This was a challenge to the introduction of the fee scheme. Held: dismissing the appeal, the introduction of the fees was held to be in accordance with EU law, the ECHR and the Equality Act 2010.
