Serious harm threshold not satisfied in libel claim

Published:

Re: Daryanani v Ramnani [2017] EWHC 183 (QB)

The claimant complained of libel in relation to words published from the minutes of a private meeting of the trustees of a charity. The Court held that the claimant had not demonstrated any indication that the “serious harm” threshold would be satisfied or that the limited publications produced would cause serious harm in the future.

Lorna Skinner was involved in this case.
