Whether it was just and equitable for police officers to indemnify the commissioner under the Civil Liability (Contribution) Act 1978, ss 1 and 2 for damages and costs awarded, where the commissioner had been successfully sued for false imprisonment and abuse that two victims had sustained from the officers.
