Re: R (Baxter) v Lincolnshire County Council [2015] EWCA Civ 1290

Challenge to the decision of a deputy high court judge on liability for costs, which raised issues of how costs should be determined in the Administrative Court when the parties have settled their differences in an agreed order which records the liability for costs determined by a single judge on the papers. The court dismissed the appeal, holding that the single judge’s conclusion did not fall outside the range of decisions open to her.
