The court considered various issues relating to a successful application for judicial review taken by the claimant. The court had previously found that the claimant had been unlawfully detained under purported deportation administration powers, as there was no realistic prospect of deportation. Whether the court should compel the disclosure of settlement terms related to an earlier application. Damages and costs also considered.
