HMCTS not liable for legal representative costs in teenager’s sex abuse claims

An appeal by the Lord Chancellor against a judgment in which the court held, inter alia, that the costs of legal representation in a case involving an allegation of sexual abuse by a teenager against the father of her mother’s two younger children should be borne by HMCTS. The CA allowed the appeal.
