Headteacher with safeguarding responsibilities should have disclosed relationship

The appellant headteacher was summarily dismissed for gross misconduct, when she failed to disclose her close personal relationship with a man who had been convicted of making indecent images of children. She challenged the finding of the employment tribunal that her dismissal was fair, and the decision of the EAT that there had been evidence on which to conclude that the she had a duty to disclose this information.
