Extradition of appellant was not overly oppressive

Re: FK v Stuttgart State Prosecutor’s Office, Germany [2017] EWHC 2160 (Admin)

The Court dismissed the argument that the extradition of the appellant was overly oppressive under the Extradition Act 2003, s 14 including when considering the impact on the appellant’s family members. It did not constitute a disproportionate interference with his ECHR, art 8 rights.

Julian B. Knowles QC and Hugh Southey QC were involved in this case.
